Synopsis

Yue and Nodoka are practicing magic, and one spell catches their eye: The Red String of Fate. Supposedly, this spell connects you with your fated partner. Nodoka decides to try it out, and ends up tied to Negi. However, this spell isn't the Red String of Fate at all, but is in fact just a red string that connects two people. A magical red string that happens to be impossible to sever. Delightful. Meanwhile, Ayaka invites the class to a free trip to her family's recently constructed spa resort. Tied together for at least a day, will Negi and Nodoka be able to make the most out of this free trip without going too far...?

Again, like the Haru OVA, this is one of my favorite episodes in the series, although I have to admit I liked the Haru special just the slightest bit better.

Story: 9
The story was better then the Haru special, I mean it had a bigger plot to the entire episode, so I liked that about it, they could tell an entire story in 1 episode.

Art: 9
The character art remains incredible, I just didn't really like the background artwork in the bath house too much, it was too weird for me.

Sound: 10
Like the rest of the series, the voice actor/actresses and SFX are really good.

I liked this OVA alot better than the Haru one. The only issues I have with it are the fan service with Asuna is kinda over the top, but besides that it's pretty decent, and can I just say that Nodoka looks so CUTE in her outfit in this.

This OVA has alot of fan service as I said before. Besides Asuna they have it a little for Nodoka as well, as well as most of the girls there (as for the fact there all wearing swimsuits)

This OVA is much better than the first OVA (spring). This episode actually has a decent plot and some drama. As in the first OVA, the animation is very good, better than the original series. The characters are drawn a little differently (a different animation studio I suppose) but after watching both OVAs I'm getting used to it.

There's lots of fanservice which you expect from Negima, and even more than usual because it's an OVA.

This is definitely worth watching if you're a Negima fan and will whet your appetite for the whole 2nd season, if you haven't seen it yet.
